Five killed in Syangja jeep accident

By Radha Krishna Dumre, Waling, Syangja, April 17: Five people have been killed in the Syangja jeep accident on Sunday. 

The Mahindra Jeep (Ga 1 Ja 7399) heading towards Banyatari from Waling has met with an accident at Firfire of Waling municipality 12.




According to Police, five people have been killed in the accident. The deceased are yet to be identified. The police have said that four people have been killed on the spot and one child breathed his last on the way to the hospital.

Police Inspector Padam Raj Thapa has said that the critically injured six people have been sent to Garhaun Primary Hospital for treatment. According to him, three critically injured have been sent to Pokhara for further treatment.

Rescue work is underway. Witnesses have said that the jeep has fallen down about 100 meters. It has been said that 11 people travelled on the jeep.
