According to the head of the Museum, Jaya Narayan Karki, 75,791 people, including domestic and foreign tourists, visited the museum in the eight months. Karki said the largest number of visitors to the museum is that of students on educational tour. "Information related to the history of Nepal's unification campaign can be gathered and observed in the Gorkha Palace Museum," Karki said, adding that students from many districts come to visit here during the academic tour season. Similarly, tourists from SAARC countries and other countries also visit the Gorkha Palace Museum. According to Chief Karki, 43,848 students visited the museum.
