By TRN Online, Kathmandu, May 16: The Police Headquarters has requested all commuters to use an alternative route, stating that the Kulekhani-Kalanki-Humane road section on the Kathmandu-Hetauda route will be closed for 19 days for maintenance, in effect from today.Nepal Police Spokesperson and Senior Superintendent of Police Ramesh Thapa said the closure was announced in coordination with local administrative offices to minimize public inconvenience.The public notice states that the road section in Indrasarobar Rural Municipality, Makawanpur, will be completely closed to vehicular movement for 19 days to allow blacktopping work.The notice, issued by the Police Headquarters, stated, “Nepal Police informs all concerned that vehicles traveling between Hetauda and Kathmandu are advised to use alternative routes such as Kantilokpath or the Kulekhani-Sisneri-Pharping road.”It was also clarified that the road closure has been implemented in coordination with the local administration and local government bodies to facilitate the construction work.
