In the ongoing vote count under the proportional representation (PR) system for the House of Representatives elections, the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in number of votes secured.
Komal Gyawali, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been elected to the House of Representatives from Kailali Constituency-1.
The CPN (UML) candidate Ain Bahadur Mahar has won the House of Representatives (HoR) Member election in Bajhang. Mahar defeated the Nepali Congress candidate Prakash Rasaili Snehi by a margin of 2,239 votes.
Rukesh Ranjit of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has won the House of Representatives (HoR) Member election from Bhaktapur constituency number 1, defeating Nepal Workers and Peasants Party secretary Prem Suwal by 5,289 votes.
Sunil KC has been elected from Kathmandu Constituency No. 2. The Election Commission has stated that he was elected with 34,238 votes.

By Thakur Prasad Acharya, Myagdi, March 7: Independent candidate Dr Mahabir Pun has been elected to the House of Representatives from Myagdi, winning by a margin of 14,931 votes.According to the final vote count announced on Saturday morning, Dr Pun, who previously served as the Minister for Education, Science and Technology, secured 22,850 votes, said Chief Returning Officer Surya Bahadur Thapa.His closest rival Hari Krishna Shrestha of the CPN-UML received 7,919 votes.According to the Office of the Chief Returning Officer, Karna Bahadur Bhandari of the Nepali Congress secured 6,673 votes, while Arjun Thapa of the Nepali Communist Party obtained 3,530 votes. Dr Pun maintained a comfortable lead from the early stages of the vote count.Following his victory, Dr Pun issued a notice urging his supporters not to organize victory celebrations.He also stated that the vote counting for the proportional representation system will begin shortly after the completion of the direct election vote count.A total of 12 candidates, including independents, contested in Myagdi, which has only one electoral constituency. Out of 86,397 registered voters in the district, 46,215 votes were cast.
Independent Dr. Mahabir Pun has been elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Myagdi.
Subba secured victory by defeating Bhanu Bhakta Dhakal of the CPN-UML by a margin of 879 votes. Subba received a total of 11,561 votes, while Dhakal obtained 10,682 votes.
The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)'s Vice Chairman and Coordinator of the Federal Election Mobilization Committee, D.P. Aryal, has urged candidates elected from RSP and party well-wishers not to immediately hold a victory rally.
Lamichhane secured 54,402 votes in the election.
Morang, March 7: Santosh Rajbanshi of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has been elected as a Member of the House of Representatives from Morang Constituency-4.According to the final vote count announced on Saturday morning following Thursday’s election, Rajbanshi secured 40,833 votes to win the seat, said Election Officer Ghanendra Adhikari.As per the Election Office of Constituency-4, his closest rival Gururaj Ghimire, the General Secretary of the Nepali Congress, received 12,818 votes.Similarly, Amanlal Modi of the Nepali Communist Party received 10,762 votes, while Jeevan Ghimire of the CPN-UML secured 6,933 votes.In the constituency, there were 119,255 registered voters, of which 80,084 votes were cast. A total of 19 candidates, including those from various political parties and independent candidates, contested in the election.
Under the House of Representatives election, Suresh Kumar Chaudhary, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has been elected as a Member of Parliament from Banke Constituency-1.
