PM Karki asks NFDIN to work effectively for promotion of indigenous nationalities
Prime Minister Sushila Karki has directed the National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN) to work effectively by being result-oriented to justify its relevance. The Foundation is the state-owned institution set up for the promotion and development of indigenous nationalities.

Price of diesel and kerosene reduced, of petrol increased
With the price adjustment, the price of diesel and kerosene is now fixed at 139.50 rupees per liter for the grade 1 region, 141 rupees for the grade 2 and 142 rupees for the grade 3. Similarly, petrol has been fixed at 160.50, 162 and 163 rupees for the first, second and third grade of regions respectively.
200 and 500 denomination Indian currency notes now allowed
The government has made arrangements to allow Nepali and Indian citizens to bring into the country and take to India a maximum of 25,000 INR of these denominations. The currency notes to be allowed to use should be those issued since November 9, 2016.
