DPM Shrestha said it while addressing a programme organized here to hand over a house built for the family of the first martyr in district, Indra Koirala. He sought cooperation from all sides to make the government successful. The poor and Dalit communities were still facing discriminatory behaviour, so additional contribution is needed for social change, according to him. Home Minister Shrestha reminded that the government was now in a phase to implement the achievements made through people's movement. He argued that achievement of people's movement must not be ignored also for ensuring transitional justice, and end of all sorts of discrimination and oppressions. The DPM also said the government was working actively to end corruption and discrimination, and protect nationality. Remaining tasks of peace process would be completed and socio-economic transformation intensified by the government, he said, adding only Maoist Centre would however be not able to address every problem because it was the alliance government.
