Former British Gurkha soldiers have demanded that the Nepali citizenship obtained on the basis of descent should be retained. In today's meeting of the House of Representatives, State Affairs Committee, the representative of the former British Gurkha soldiers expressed that they want the continuation of the existing citizenship provided to them and not a new one.

The circular directs government hospitals and institutions to ensure that all goods needed for organ transplantation and related procedures are available within hospital pharmacies. This measure aims to address patients’ concerns regarding being forced to purchase such items at inflated prices from private suppliers.

Commercial insect development firm selling 300 thousand mulberry saplings
The Commercial Insect Development Firm Bhandara has grown more than 300 thousand saplings of the mulberry plant for selling. The firm has prepared those seedlings on its 1.5-hectare land. According to the Chief of the Firm, Suruchi Tripathi, currently over 300 thousand plants are ready for sale in the nursery. Among these saplings, farmers have already applied for the purchase of 20 thousand plants. Last year, the office produced 350 thousand mulberry plants and sold 250 thousand.
