175 drivers of ride sharing services taken action
The traffic police had launched the campaign in the wake of rising traffic congestion and unruly driving. The Valley Traffic Police Office informed that it conducted special check especially in busy roads. As the drivers of ride hailing services were found violating traffic rule, they were punished, according to Superintendent of Police, Naresh Raj Subedi.

Pregnant woman and her newborn die in Bajura
According to the Information Officer of District Hospital Bajura, Nriparaj Giri, Rokaya had a history of heart disease and had undergone treatment in Kathmandu in 2022. 250,000 goats to be administered PPR vaccine in Chitwan
Chitwan, March 23: The PPR vaccine campaign is being run in all seven local levels in Chitwan district from the next week. Around 250,000 goats will be vaccinated under the programme, the District Livestock Service Office said. The campaign is aimed at controlling the PPR disease in goats in the district. According to research papers, PPR is an economically important trans-boundary disease of sheep and goats caused due to Morbillivirus genus in the family Paramyxoviridae virus, and Nepal had experienced several episodes of PPR outbreaks in the past. The Chief of Office, Dr Pravat Neupane, said that nearly 50 to 90 percent of total goats succumb to this disease by developing the symptoms of high fever, pneumonia, wounds and others. (RSS)

Flora Expo concludes
The four-day-long expo that began with the slogan 'Floriculture for Clean Environment, Employment and Economic Prosperity' was organized in Bhrikutimandap exhibition hall and received an impressive number of visitors, Association's Senior Vice Chairman Ram Bahadur Tamang said.
