Four members of the House of Representatives of Japan, led by Mr. TAKEBE Arata, Chair of the Standing Committee on Judicial Affairs, visited Nepal from July 27 to 30, 2024.

Body of a worker swept away by flood found

NA soldier dies in road accident
A soldier died when a motorcycle and a car collided at Pokhara Bus Park, Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1. The deceased has been identified as Nigam Nepali Sarki, a 27-year-old soldier working in Nepali Army Disaster Management Battalion N0-2, Rasauli. He is a permanent resident of Bhanu Municipality-12, Tanahu district.

Body found under Balkhu bridge
According to the Metropolitan Police Kalimati Circle, the body of 45-year-old Ram Swarup Mahato was recovered under the Balkhu bridge in a washed-away state on Wednesday morning. Having a permanent resident in Banke, Lumbini, he was currently residing in the squatter's settlement around the Balkhu riverbank.
Man dead in Balkhukhola flood
A man died in a flood occurred in Balkhukhola last night. Police said that the dead body of Ram Swarup Mahato, 45, was recovered from the river near Balkhu in the Capital City.

771 enterprises registered in a year in Tanahun
A total of 771 industries have been registered in Tanahun district in the fiscal year 2080/81 BS. As per the data of the Tourism and Industry Office, a total of 398 firms were registered under the category of industry while 373 others were under the commerce.
