Inflation eases to 4.1%, forex reserve grows in first month of current FY
Consumer Price Inflation has moderated significantly in the first month of the current Fiscal Year 2024/25 compared to the same period in the last FY 2023/24. The year-on-year CPI stood at 4.10 per cent in mid-August, 2024 against 7.52 per cent a year ago, according to the latest report published by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) on Thursday. The central bank has set the inflation target for this year at 5 per cent.
