297 offices damaged during Gen-Z movement in Madhes
Janakpurdham, Oct 2: Ninety police posts and 207 government offices were damaged due to arson and vandalism during the Gen-Z movement in Madhesh Province, resulting in a loss amounting to Rs 73 million 122 thousand, the Madhes Province Police Office said.
All damaged offices have resumed operations after repairs, and the police personnel displaced by the movement have also returned to work.
According to the Madhesh Province Police Office, protesters have set vehicles worth Rs 20 million 678 thousand 380 on fire.(RSS)
