Executive editor Karki, sub editor Giri awarded

Kathmandu, Feb 19: Executive Editor at English Desk, Manoj Karki, has been honoured with the 'Adityadhwoj Joshi Memorial Award-2025'. The award carries the purse of Rs 7,500. Also provided with the same award was photo journalist Ratna Krishna Shrestha.     

The award was handed over by Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Prithvi Subba Gurung, at a function organized on the 64th anniversary of RSS on Wednesday.     

Sub editor at Nepali desk, Bikram Giri, and photo editor Kiran Bhattarai were conferred on the 'RSS Journalism Award-2025'. The award provided each year by the FNJ RSS Chapter carries a purse of Rs 10,000 and a letter of certificate each.     

Senior reporter from Biratnagar, Mohamad Sadrul, and an office assistant at central office, Maina Thapa, were conferred on the 'Basu Rimal Yatri Memorial Award-2025'. The award carries the purse of Rs 7,777 and a letter of certificate each.     

Similarly, RSS honoured three subscribers on this occasion. They are- the PSB Nepal, the onlinekhabar.com, and the Samadhan daily from Pokhara. (RSS)
