'Discussion begins on amendment of Civil Service Act'

Chitwan, Dec 10: Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Raj Kumar Gupta has said discussion had begun to amend the law relating to civil service. The lawmakers had launched the discussion on the points surfaced before the bill designed to amend the Civil Service Act.    

Minister Gupta shared it while talking to journalists here Monday. The State Affairs Committee has forwarded deliberation on the bill since Sunday.  

  
"A total of 1,583 amendment proposals were registered in the bill, so this bill warrants a regular discussion," he added.    

The government was for tabling the amendment bill in coming session of the parliament.   

 
The bill on amendment of the Civil Service Act has been pending for nine years.(RSS)
