Simkot, Dec.9: The Himalayan district of Humla has witnessed the first snowfall of this year. In addition to the change in the weather since Sunday evening, Sunday night's snowfall was triggered by the storm of Sunday afternoon.
"Simkot, the district headquarters, is covered in three inches of snow, while the northern region of the district, such as Limi of Namkha rural municipality, an upper part of the northern region, was blanketed in at least one inch of snowfall as of Monday morning," said an employee of Limi Healthpost Log Bohara.
