Chinese Premier Li welcomes PM Oli, bilateral talks being held

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 3: Chinese Premier Li Qiang has welcomed Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli at the Great Hall of the People, Beijing, China, this morning.

PM Oli who is on a four-day official visit to the northern neighbour reached Beijing yesterday.

In respect of PM Oli, People’s Liberation Army (PLA) of China presented a Guard of Honour at the premises of the Great Hall of the People.

During the reception at the Great Hall of the People, PM Oli and his Chinese counterpart Li introduced each other’s delegation members for the bilateral talks which is being held at the moment.

Following the bilateral talks, a ceremony of signing of agreements is scheduled, according to PM Oli's press coordinator, Prakash Silwal.

PM Oli is also scheduled to hold a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping today.

The Nepali delegation led by Prime Minister Oli arrived in China on Monday.

The entourage comprises PM's spouse Radhika Shakya, Foreign Minister Dr Arzu Rana Deuba, PM's chief advisor Bishnu Rimal, PM's economic and development advisor Dr Yubaraj Khatiwada, federal lawmakers, chief secretary, high level government officials, private sector representatives and media persons.
