Nearly 80 per cent votes cast in Sanibheri

By Raju Lamichhane, Rukum Pashchim, Dec 1: Under local level by-election to elect the ward chair in Sanibheri Rural Municipality - 5 of Rukum Pashchim about 80 per cent votes have been cast by the end of voting time.
According to the Election Officer's Office, 79.92 per cent votes have been cast by 5 PM on Sunday.
According to Assistant Election Officer Govinda Prasad Koirala, out of 1,434 voters, 1,146 votes have been cast.
He also informed that vote counting will be started after collecting the ballots.
