Manmohan Technical University introducing management law

Biratnagar, Nov 10: The Manmohan Technical University in Biratnagar is all set to introduce a new academic programme- BBA LLB- this year.     

According to University's Vice-Chancellor Dr Subash Shree Pokharel, the University was going to implement this special integrated 5-year law programme for the first time in the country.     

It a model course the University has designed and is set to introduce to produce skilled human resources in management law, informed Vice-Chancellor Pokharel. The fee for the five-year academic programme is determined at Rs 450,000.     

There has been a special arrangement for meritorious students while 10 per cent of the total 45 seats are reserved for women, Dalits and other marginalized communities, the University said.     

The course emphasizes practical education than the theoretical one, said Pokharel, adding that students would get to conduct research and surveys as well as gain practical knowledge on cyber crimes.     

Furthermore, the students will be imparted practical knowledge on procurement process.(RSS)
