President Paudel wishes for citizen's peace, happiness

Bajura, Oct 17: President Ramchandra Paudel has wished for peace and happiness for citizens and for the prosperity of the nation

Speaking at the inauguration of a newly constructed building for the historic Natyashwori Temple in Triveni municipality-7, in Bajura today, he said, "Standing on this sacred land, I pray for the happiness and peace of all Nepalis and for our nation's prosperity."     

The President stated that, since ancient times, people have come to religious sites in the Badimalika area to make wishes for the welfare of both people and the nation. He expressed immense delight at witnessing the unique natural beauty and essence of the Badimalika region, stating, "At this moment, I feel I am at one of the most significant shrines. Here, I have experienced the uniqueness of nature and its heavenly beauty for the first time in my life."     

Urging the Bajura folks not to have the feeling of 'lacks', he expressed his belief for agricultural and tourism development in the area.     

He added that religious shrines have connected the society with diverse castes, languages and caste into while and inspired the human community to engage in good deeds by promoting religious ad communal harmony.     

"Bajura district has fallen behind in development and prosperity despite having historical, religious, cultural and natural heritages. I express the confidence that the State will pay proper attention for the development of this resource-rich land," the Head of State said.     

Stating that Badimalika situated at Triveni is taken as one of the exquisite heritages of Nepal, he expressed pleasure to worship the goddess Badimalika and Natyashwori in such a holy place.     

He described Badimalika as an enthralling place with religious, tourism, archaeological, cultural and geographical point of view.     

President Paudel called attention of the government for the conservation and development of this holy place that is endowed with natural beauty and rich biodiversity including wildlife.     

Before this, President Paudel performed worship at the Badimalika Temple in the morning. First Lady Sabita Paudel also accompanied the President.(RSS)
