Restriction to commute along Koshi Barrage bridge

Inaruwa (Sunsari), Sept 28: The commutation along the bridge of the Koshi barrage bridge has been restricted. 

The restriction is imposed after the rise in the water level of the Koshi Barrage. 

Publishing a press release today, Assistant Chief District Officer of Sunsari Bedraj Phuyal, informed that the commutation along the bridge is restricted from 4 pm until the next notice. 

He has appealed to use an alternative route for necessary reasons.  

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police, Sunsari, Nabin Krishna Bhandari, all the gates of Koshi barrage are open as the water level started to cross a dangerous level.

DSP Bhandari also informed that four gates of the Saptari and Sunsari canal also opened. (Translated from RSS)
