Glory Teen and Kid’s Talents audition to be held

By A Staff Reporter,Kathmandu, July 28: The first audition of Glory Teen and Kid’s Talents will be held at Kuckoo Lounge and Event in Gongabu, Kathmandu on August 3. 

The audition for this beauty pageant is going to be held on August 3 from 10 am to 3:30 pm. Glory Media, which has been presenting children’s programmes from Nepal Television is organising the event.

According to the media, children from 7 to 18 years old can participate in the programme. Children from the age group 7 to 12 years will be able to participate in Kids Talent and children from the age group of 13 to 18 years will be able to participate in Teen Talent. 

The contestants will receive personality development, confidence enhancement, modelling, camera facing and television programme hosting training along with choreography for about 20 days, said the organiser. 

Chairman and Managing Director of Glory Media Saroj Ojha said that 18 hours long training will be given to the participants after the first audition and the grand finale programme will be held on the occasion of Children’s Day on September 14.

‘This is not only a beauty pageant, but also a preparation for the production of television programmes involving children and teenagers. Therefore, this competition will be different from other beauty pageants and we are trying to advance the concept of a child-friendly show through this competition’ Ojha said.

The winner of the competition will receive Rs. 25,000, the first runner-up will get Rs. 15,000 and the second runner-up will be given Rs.10,000 as cash as a prize.
