Wonderful Winter Vacation

A trip means a journey in which you go somewhere, usually for a short time, and come back again. I had a winter vacation for 15 days due to the extremely cold weather. So, my family decided to go on a trip to Trisuli Riverside Resort, located on the bank of the Trisuli River in Dhading. Udhav Kadel established this resort, which has earned a good reputation in the field of rafting and adventure in Nepal.

On the trip, there were five members, including my father, mother, brother, sister, and myself. First, we took a bus from New Buspark. It took around 4 hours from Kathmandu to reach the resort.

After reaching there, we had lunch together. After taking some rest, we decided to take advantage

of some adventurous activities available at the resort. So, we all headed to Zip Line.

Zip lining is an action filled with recreational activity that involves riding a steel cable on a protective seat or a belt between two points. We wore the safety belts, and my father went first to another side.

Then we all did the same. That was a really amazing and unforgettable moment for me.

After we finished the zip line, we took some photos. Then, I tried sky cycling, which was really cool. Sky cycling is when you ride a bike on a rope high up in the air. We also walked around the Trishuli Riverbank in the evening. Before dinner, we listened to live music and had fun dancing and singing together. Later, we had dinner. Since it was cold, we sat around a campfire before going to bed. After warming up, we decided it was time to go to sleep.

The next morning, we woke up a bit late and headed for breakfast. After eating, we went on a short hike. Along the way, we saw people working on their farms.

Then, we returned to the riverbank for some photos—it was a wonderful moment. When we got back to the resort, we packed our bags and had lunch. It was time to go back to Kathmandu, so we caught a bus. I told my relatives and friends all about our adventure.
