Adhikari appointed advisor of Gorkhapatra Corporation

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec 29: The government has appointed Ram Krishna Adhikari as an advisor of the Gorkhapatra Corporation (GC).

A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on 21 December decided to appoint journalist Adhikari as the managerial, financial and printing advisor of the GC, according to the Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Rekha Sharma.

Born in Suryagadhi Rural Municipality-2 in Nuwakot, Adhikari has been involved in journalism for about two decades.

He has worked in the Rajdhani Daily, Naya Patrika Daily, Annapurna Post Daily, Radio Mirmire, and Meronews dot com and has editorial as well as managerial experiences.

With a master's degree in journalism, Adhikari is also a central committee member of the Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ).

The Cabinet meeting appointed Adhikari as the advisor as per the proposal of the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology in line with the Gorkhapatra Corporation Act, 2019 BS section 14 (1).
