Need to change ruling concept to fulfill spirit of federalism: Acting PM Khadka

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept.29: Acting Prime Minister and Defence Minister Purna Bahadur Khadka said that there is a need to change the ruling mindset for the complete implementation of federalism. 

Addressing the preliminary collection of suggestions for job modification, local government association and federation program in Kathmandu on Friday, Acting PM Khadka said that federalism is only possible if the three tiers of government work in collaboration.

"There has been a feeble implementation of the federalism as federal laws are not formed even after the election was held two times following the promulgation of the constitution," said Acting PM Khadka."Top priority is given to form the federal law."  

He said that the school education bill was proposed in the Parliament and now, preparations are underway to table the civil servant bill and federal police bill. 

" There is a need to keep the spirit of federalism while asking for the right", he said.
