By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept.26: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has appellate the case of Min Bahadur Bista to the Supreme Court over its dissatisfaction with the verdict of the Special Court, Kathmandu.
Bhola Dahal, Spokesperson at the CIAA said that cases registered under Special Court Kathmandu have been appellate to the Supreme Court because of the dissatisfaction over the verdict made by Special Court, Kathmandu, on the cases filed under it.
According to Dahal, the corruption case of Min Bahadur Bista, corruption by submission of fake bills, falls under one of the appellate cases. Rs 234,000 corruption was filed against Min Bahadur Bista by CIAA.
In a press brief, it is said that of all the cases filed under Special Court, Kathmandu, by CIAA, verdicts on cases of benefiting illegally and corruption by harming others were appealed to the Supreme Court. CIAA made the decision to appellate such cases to the Supreme Court on September 25.
