The Investigation Office has urged denizens to be alert around fake and enticing schemes, while informing that there has been an increase in the number of online fraud schemes such as cheating in the name of sending gifts and parcels, enticing people as a lucky draw winner, and asking for an OTP code saying that one is an employee in a bank and wallet, exchanging dollars with Nepali rupee and luring in the name of sending to a foreign country through the means of social networks like Facebook, Viber, emo, WhatsApp and TikTok.
