Participation of all Nepalis needed for economic transformation: Finance Minister Mahat

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Sept. 19: Finance Minister Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said that there is a need for the participation of Nepali citizens both in and out of the country for economic transformation. 

While addressing a programme organised to unveil the statue of Ganesh Man Singh on Tuesday in Bhaktapur, Minister Dr Mahat said that there has been an upgrade in the economy of the country and there is a need to create a conducive environment for it. "In order to create a conducive environment for economic development, there is a need for the participation of all". 

The Finance Minister said that there is no other option than to participate with full confidence in the campaign of economic transformation of the country. He said that the government is committed to establishing good governance and democratic values in the country. 

He said, "All must join hands to bring progress to the country. There is a need to participate in economic activity and increase investment with a mindset that there will be economic upliftment in the country."

Dr. Mahat made a commitment to forming an infrastructure in Ganesh Man Sigh Park with collaboration from all three tires of government. The government will support the completion of the remaining work.
