Kathmandu, Sept 18: A visiting Chinese delegation headed by Member of the Standing Committee and Head of Publicity Department of Communist Party of China (CPN) Yunnan Provincial Committee, Zeng Yan paid a courtesy call on Vice-President Ram Sahaya Prasad Yadav on Monday.
According to the Vice-President's office, future measures for further deepening the persisting cordial relations between the two countries were discussed on the occasion.
Vice-President Yadav said the Nepal-China relations have been strongly built on the foundation of peace, principle of co-existence, friendship, mutual cooperation and partnership, fundamental interests and sensitivities. He further said neighbouring China has been a key and long-standing development partner of Nepal.
Vice-President Yadav expressed his confidence that the bilateral relations between Nepal and China will be further consolidated at the grassroots level noting the people-to-people relations is one of the important dimensions of cordial bilateral relations.
Chinese delegation leader Zeng said the visit was productive, adding she will make efforts to further deepen, consolidate and strengthen the relations. (RSS)
