decided to limit foreign trips of the government ministers and high officials.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on
Tuesday made a decision to this effect, informed government spokesperson and Minister
for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma at a press meet on
Wednesday.
She said now onwards the government ministers and
officials in top positions will be allowed for foreign visits only on very
essential conditions.
Similarly, the government has formed a committee to
facilitate the implementation of the report of the high level commission on pay
and perks of the government employee.
The Cabinet meeting also decided to bring uniformity
in study visa fee of Nepal and the USA.
The government also decided to permit the use of forest
area for installing 132 KV transmission line of the lower Likhu hydropower
project, and for upgrading Rampur Health Post to a 10-bed hospital in Udayapur.
The government also extended the deadline by 45 days
for the probe committee on Yeti Air plane crash.
