Sita Air conducts test flight at Dang's Tarigaun Airport

By Our Correspondent,Tulsipur, Jan. 28: Sita Air has conducted a test flight at Tarigaun Airport in Tulsipur, Dang. The airlines flew to the airport at 1 pm on Friday.Talking to The Rising Nepal, pilot Rabindra Dongol said that commercial planes could fly to the airport at full capacity if the runway could be extended by 200 metres.

 He also noted the need for the airport to get the houses to remove their rooftop water tanks to allow planes to approach from the north more easily. Pilot Dongol also drew the authorities’ attention on the presence of birds around the airport.

Tikaram Khadka, Mayor of Tulsipur Sub Metropolitan City, said that the local government would take steps to solve the problems pointed out by the test flight.
