Lamichhane assumes office as Home Minister

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec. 26: Newly appointed Home Minister Ravi Lamichhane has assumed office as the Minister for Home Affairs.

After taking the oath of office and secrecy before president Bidya Devi Bhandari, minister Lamichhane assumed office by reaching Singhadurbar on Monday evening.

Lamichhane is the Chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party. Before the launch of the party, Lamichhane worked as a journalist for a long period.
