PM given responsibility to appoint ministers

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Dec.26: The meeting of the ruling coalition has given the responsibility of allocating ministers to the newly appointed Prime Minister and Chairperson of CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda'.

Rabi Lamichhane, chairperson of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party who participated in a meeting held in the building of the federal parliament located at the New Baneshwor, said that PM will take a decision on this issue after discussing it with all the political parties.

Lamichhane said, "The decision of appointing a ministerial position will be based on consensus, while, PM will be responsible for the final decision."

Chairperson Lamichhane has claimed the post of the  Deputy Prime Minister, and ministry of home affairs however, PM is yet to give a decision.

In a press brief after the meeting, the Chairperson of the Janamat Party, Dr. CK Raut, said that the Ministry of Industry, Commerce & Supply is likely to be given on their plate. For this, the party will send Abdul Khan to the government.
