Charles Sobhraj to be deported to France today

By TRN Online, Kathamandu, Dec. 23: Charles Sobhraj, who was released from jail on Friday after the order of the Supreme Court, is going to be deported today.

After the jail term of 19 years and three months, Sobhraj was released from Central Jail Sundhara. 

Sobhraj was sent to the Department of Immigration today after being released from jail. 

Information Officer of the Department Kamal Prasad Pande has informed that Sobhraj will be sent to France today. 

The SC verdict has also asked the concerned authority to arrange for Sobharj to return to his country within 15 days on Wednesday.

Information Officer Pande said that Sobhraj will be sent to France today by a flight in the evening.

Sobhraj had served jail terms for different crimes including murders.
