Kathmandu, Dec 21: Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies, Dilendra Prasad Badu, has said it was necessary to create pro-industrial environment in the country.
At an 'Industrial Relations Conference' organised by Japan International Labour Foundation (JILAF) in collaboration with Nepal Trade Union Congress here on Wednesday, Minister Badu pointed out the need of increasing employment and production by creating industrial environment in the country. "The government will find out the problems of industries and labourers and work to resolve them. The government is ready to resolve policy-level problems as well as other problems seen in industrial sector."
The Industry Minister further said that the government was effortful to make the country's import and export balanced.
Members of the General Federation of Nepalese Trade Unions (GEFONT) close to the CPN (UML) and labour organisation close to the CPN (Maoist Centre) are also participating in the two-day conference.(RSS)
