Kathmandu, Dec 19: Rabi Lamichhane has been elected the Parliamentary Party (PP) leader of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP).
A central working committee of the party held on Monday elected party chairperson Lamichhane to the post unopposed, said central committee member and HoR member Sobita Gautam.
The RSP has won 20 seats in federal parliament—13 towards FPTP and 13 proportional representation (PR) category in the November 20 general election.
With President Bidya Devi Bhandari's call on December 18 for the formation of a new government, political parties represented in the House of Representatives have started to elect party's parliamentary party leaders. (RSS)
