EC to organise reception on Dec 19

Kathmandu, Dec 15: The Election Commission (EC) is set to organize a reception on December 19 on the occasion of successfully organizing the elections to the House of Representatives and the Province Assembly. 

The function will be organized at 1:30 pm in the EC’s premises, said the EC’s spokesperson Shaligram Sharma Paudel. 

President, Vice President, Prime Minister, VVIPs, ministers, former Prime Ministers, leaders of various political parties, chiefs of security bodies, chiefs and representatives of the diplomatic missions among others have been invited for the reception, he said. 

Three elections—HoR, Province Assembly and Local-Level were conducted this year. Voting for the election to HoR and PA took place on November 20 in a single phase while local level election on May 13. (RSS)
