Govt decides to recommend for issuing ordinance to amend National Criminal Procedure (Code) Act

Dec. 12: The government has decided to recommend President Bidya Devi Bhandari
to issue an ordinance related to the first amendment to the National Criminal Procedure
(Code) Act, 2017.
A meeting of the Council
of Ministers held on Sunday took a decision to this effect, according to
government spokesperson and Minister for Communication and Information
Technology, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.
Karki said so at a press meeting held today to make
public the Cabinet decisions.
