Husband arrested for killing wife in Dhanusha

By Bijay Kumar Sah, Dhalkebar, Dec.12: Husband Birendra Yadav from Shantipur, Bateshwor Rural Municipality-5, Dhanusha, has been arrested in the suspension of killing his wife Rita Devi Yadav.

Rita was injured by a blatant sharp object at 11 PM on Sunday amidst sleeping in her own home and died while receiving treatment in the Kavya Hospital in Janakpur. She was taken to hospital by the accused husband. 

Pradeep Kumar Kshetri, Deputy Superintendent of Police, also the spokesperson of the District Police Office, Dhanusha, Birendra was questioned as a suspect following the preliminary investigation and he confirmed the killing after some grilling by the police. 

The killing object, an axe, was found thrown in a nearby pond. Both the suspected husband and the killing object have been taken under control by the police for further investigation.
