Lumbini Province CM office moved to Dang

By Kapil Gyawali, Siddharthanagar, Dec.6: The headquarter of Lumbini Province that was located in Butwal earlier is being moved to Dang amid ongoing controversy. The utilities of the office of chief minister and council of ministers in Butwal was shifted to Deukhuri, Dang in the middle of night on December 5. 

The provincial government said that the office of chief minister in Butwal will be now closed and new office will be set up in Dang. 

Tilak Ram, Sharma, Spokesperson of the Lumbini Province government said that all the furniture’s, documents and utilities of the old secretariat office was transported in three trucks yesterday night to be taken to permanent office in Dang. 

He said, “The office of chief minister will operate from Dang once the belongings and office management will be properly set up. ”. 

Lumbini Province Chief Minister Kul Prasad KC’s, press coordinator Man Singh BK, said that belongings of Butwal office that was tripped off in night to Dang was unloaded this morning in the new office of the secretariat located at Rapti Technical School, in Rapti Rural Municipalities-3, Deukhuri, Dang.

“The things of old office are being moved in the evening to avoid work disturbances. Things will be shifted and new office will be set up in night,” he said.
