CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Prachanda wins by double margin from Gorkha-2

By TRN Online, Gorkha, Nov. 24: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has been elected a member of the House of Representatives (HoR) from Gorkha-2 with a  margin of 13,466 votes. 

He garnered 26,103 votes while his opponent Kabindra Burlakoti, a candidate from Rashtriya Swatantra Party, got 12,637 votes. 

A total of 53, 978 votes were cast in Gorkha-2.
