20th CPC National Congress concludes electing 205 CC members

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 22: The week-long 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China (CPC) concluded on Saturday in Beijing.

Xinhua reported that the CPC National Congress elected 205-member central committee (CC) of the party.

The Congress also elected 171 alternate members of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC).

Similarly, the closing session of the of the 20th CPC National Congress on Saturday also elected 133 members of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the CPC.

The first plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee to be held on Sunday, tomorrow, will elect new CPC leadership -Members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee.

Following their election, the Members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the 20th Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee will meet the press on Sunday itself.

The new CPC leadership is scheduled to meet Chinese and foreign journalists in Beijing at around 12 p.m.
