Three Ambassadors present credentials to President Bhandari

By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 21: Dean Richard Thompson, ambassador of the USA, Riina-Riikka Heikka, ambassador of Finland and Gudni Bragason, ambassador of Iceland, to Nepal presented their credentials to President Bidya Devi Bhandari today.  

According to the Office of the President, they presented their credentials to the president on Friday.

According to the U.S. Embassy in Kathmandu, after the presentation of credentials, Ambassador Thompson said that It is an honour to serve as U.S. Ambassador to Nepal.

"I am humbled by the opportunity and determined to serve with an unwavering commitment to the U.S. - Nepal relationship, one that is based on respect for sovereignty and common values. "
