By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 20: A total of 53 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 were confirmed on Thursday while 51 people recovered from COVID-19.
In 798 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 50 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Thursday.
Likewise, the virus infection was detected in three people in 773 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 727 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
So far, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 12,018.
