5.9 magnitude earthquake jolts Kathmandu

Kathmandu, Oct 19: An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale was recorded this afternoon with epicentre in the Nepal-China border.
The earthquake occurred at 3.7 pm, according to the National Seismological Centre.
Seismologist Dr Mukunda Bhatatrai said the earthquake jolted Sindhupalchowk, Dolakha, Nuwakot, Rasuwa, Kathmandu Valley and Dhading. (RSS)
