Player dies falling from a height of 100 meters

By Pramod Joshi, Pokhara, Oct. 16: Paragliding player Nishim Thapa died after falling off the glider during the 9th National Games being underway in Pokhara of Gandaki Province on Sunday.

The 26-year-old Thapa representing Nepal Army was competing in the Paragliding sports. 

He fell off from 100 meters above while competing in the cross-country event. Injured Thapa was rescued and rushed to Metrocity Hospital, but doctors declared him dead at 12:45 pm.

Thapa is from Pokhara.
