By Sanam Maharjan, Kathmandu, Oct. 16: Culture expert centenarian Satya Mohan Joshi's dead body will be kept at the KIST Teaching Hospital of Lalitpur for the study purpose.
Joshi died at 7:09 AM on Sunday.
After the death of Joshi, discussions were held between his family, Lalitpur Metropolitan City and KIST Teaching Hospital.
"Joshi's dead body was donated to the KIST Teaching Hospital for study, after the completion of condolence body will be returned to the hospital and by using chemicals body will be kept for years." KIST Teaching Hospital Chief Dr Amish Pathak said.
According to Pathak, as per the wish of Joshi, his body will be kept for study and it has been already studied how to keep the body securely.
Joshi had a dream of his body's use even after his death.
Not only Joshi but also his wife also expressed her wish to donate her body after her death. So, her body will also be put at the KIST Teaching Hospital for study after her death.
