By TRN Online, Kathmandu, Oct. 15: A total of 52 new cases (RT-PCR and antigen tests combined) of COVID-19 were confirmed on Saturday while 16 people recovered from COVID-19.
In 745 Real-Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (RT-PCR) tests done in the past 24 hours, a total of 45 people were found infected with SARS-CoV-2, informed the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) in its regular update on Saturday.
Likewise, the virus infection was detected in seven people in 1,018 antigen tests performed in the last 24 hours.
Currently, there are 667 active cases of COVID-19 across the nation.
So far, Nepal's COVID-19 death toll has reached 12,018.
