Injured referred to Nepalgunj for treatment

By Pratik Ichchhuk Sharma, Salyan, Oct. 1: Two persons died on the spot while 17 others sustained injuries in the jeep accident at Kumakh Rural Municipality in the district this morning.

Of the 17 injured, 16 have been referred to hospitals in Nepalgunj after primary treatment at the district hospital and the Janapriya Policlinic at Bagchaur.

Of the referred, 15 were sent by ambulances while one critically injured was airlifted to Kohalpur, according to Bipin Acharya, Chief District Officer (CDO).

The ill-fated jeep (1Ja 798) was heading to Khairbang from Dumkot of Kumakh Rural Municipality-6 carrying pilgrims to worship at Bhagavati temple in Sarada Municipality-11 when it collided at Jimali in Kumakh Rural Municipality-6.
