By A Staff Reporter Kathmandu, May 26: The release date of Dokh directed by Anup Baral has been announced. The movie, which was awaiting its release since long, is scheduled to be released on July 8. According to director Anup Baral, the film has shown a rift between two villages over the ownership issue of a community forest.
The film revolves around the villagers conflicting over the ownership of the community forest and they choose a soccer game to decide the fate of the disputed community forest.
In other words, they decide that the winner side will take the ownership of the community forest. Producer Manoj Adhikari informed that the teaser of the story of social conflict Dokh will be released soon.
The production team is confident that the story the film will touch the hearts of the Nepali audience. Filmed by Shailendra D Karki and edited by Nimesh Shrestha, the film is written by Rajan Kataita. Diya Maskey, Manish Niraula, Lokmani Sapkota, Maotse Gurung, Kamal Devkota and Sajan Thapa Magar have done the film.
