Report about forced demolition of a Dalit's house riles NA members
Members of the National Assembly (NA) have demanded an investigation into the report about the forced demolition of a Dalit in Siraha, citing for site clearance to organise Mahayagya, a religious event. Ghanashyam Rijal said, "This is a heinous act of caste-based discrimination. Hold all those responsible for the case accountable. This is an insult to around six million Dalit population in the country. This act that had occurred in Aurahi Rural Municipality-5 in Siraha is against the Constitution and the laws."
