Japan assists infrastructure Facilities for Water Disaster Risk Reduction
New infrastructure facilities for water disaster reduction have been constructed in Madi Municipality, Chitwan district as part of a project supported by Japan. The project is being implemented by the Japanese NGO Shapla Neer - Citizens’ Community in Japan for Overseas Support.

Chester Zoo celebrates birth of world's rarest chimpanzee
A critically endangered Western chimpanzee, which conservationists say is the "world's rarest chimpanzee", has been born at a zoo. Chester Zoo said the birth was a "small but vital boost" to the global population of the species which is "under huge threat" in the wild.
